waiting......
One more month to D-Day.
Literally...it being delivery day.
Tentatively -- 28 August.
I cannot wait to:
- See my baby boy (who will he look like???!!, how big will he be? fair like me or dark like his dad? will he have loads hair or be pretty bald? will he be a smartie pants??)
- Carry my baby boy (exactly how much of my weight gain is his body weight??!) and see Terence carrying him ( i think i will cry at that sight)
- See him in the new cutesy miniature clothes we bought him
- Hear him cry (will his voice be high or normal?)
- Bring him home and see him fill up the space with his cries
- See him sleep in the new perfect white lovely baby cot we bought him (that just arrived this
morning! its so perfect!)
- show him off to his grandparents, great-grandparents and super young aunties/uncles and grand aunties/uncles
- throw his baby shower with loads laughter, love and pressies for him
- register his birth and collect his birth certificate (Marco Woo enters the world!)
- going out as a complete family with him and Terence, my 2 boys and twin loves of my life.
It really feels good to be a young mum.
I feel so full of energy and life even as at 8 1/2 months. Incredible.
I'm still working, shopping, chilling around and very much myself.
Obviously it cannot be compared to pre-pregnancy days but i'm amazed at my own energy.
Strangers and acquaintances think i'm about 5-6 months pregnant max.
I take that as a compliment.
I look at some older pregnant women and they certainly look v different.
The fatigue on their grey faces, the clothes they wear etc.
Besides, it's nice to have cool frens around at the baby shower,
and to be the first to have a baby among your friends.
Knowing you have been thru something so M-A-J-O-R
When others are still bidding their time and fate.

At the same time, i cannot wait to be able to exercise and run, run, run.
I miss it sooooooo much.
I think i'll sign up for the year-end half marathon, just to run to my heart's content.
I miss doing yoga too. Feeling that good stretch in your limbs.
My idea of a perfect day always starts with a good long run, followed by a 20-min quick yoga/stretching session.
I guess in essence, i just miss being out in the open.
Inhaling fresh air at dawn, feeling my heart race so fast, sweating it out, getting that all-familiar ache/boost/kick through all your bones, being at one with my body, the road and nature.
Rrrreally need a good sweat session.
