A lot has happened these 2 weeks.
1. I found my wedding gown. In fact, I found 2. And not one evening gown. So... we'll see. I may not even wear an evening gown. Somehow, as we found out at the studio that day, I just don't have the persona to wear an evening gown. The colours, unlike the pretty white of a wedding gown, don't seem to go well with me. The sombre, dark colours... either that or they are too striking/pastel/bright. The only colour I kinda like - champagne gold and light light yellow - were not available. I didn't take well to dark blue, black, red/dark red, bright pinks, green/turquioise.... i find that evening gowns jus seem to pile on the years for u. Either that, or the studio jus totally fail in designing nice eveningwear. Oh well, at least I have my Vera Wang-lookalike gown. Two beautiful ones, in fact. Good enough for me for now.
2. I am almost completing the first issue of my magazine. Going to print next week. I wonder how it will feel to have the magazine in my hands on the day it is out. That feels kinda nice actually.
3. Have returned from Bintan for Terence's 29th birthday. It was a total surprise for him, who thought we were gog to East Coast Beach probably. Me, on the other hand, is about $500 poorer. Horrible ferry ride but nice beach, nice snorkelling, pretty place. Too much of a tourist trap though. Better for people above 35. But nice time. I think 2D 1 N is just enough. Any more and i'll be bored. More for water sports and relaxing than anyth else.
4. Met some friends tonite whom I haven't seen for a while. Some were my frens in Oz. It was a great treat n it was great to see them. They reminded me of the times in Brissy, a time that seemed far away alreadi. It was 3 yrs back. Gosh. Everyone now is more settled, more subdued, working hard and reaping from the college years we forged tog.
