her passing

About 2 wks ago, Denise msg me that Cynthia from MCM
had jumped from a building and ended her life.

I hardly knew Cynthia.
Perhaps never spoke more than 10 sentences to her.
And though sad, the news passed me by just as Samuel's death a few years earlier had.

Until just now.
I came across the blog of another MCM-er.
Who blogged abt her passing.
He wasn't close to her too... but wrote effusively of her passing.

Then I realised how little her death had affected me.
Her life, or death, didn't seem to make a dent on me at all.
She was one of those no one heard of after graduation.

She probably didn't find peace on earth.
In God, or in anyone or anything in her life.
We pray that the Lord keeps her, and that she is at peace with Him now.

Kate the Comeback Queen

CK

These are all current ads for THIS season.
She is 32.
Who'd have guessed?
I would have to say,
Kate Moss IS the supermodel of my generation.

Souped-up Mitsie.

Treasure trove 'neath the hood.

Toufu delivery?

My sweetheart.

Totally in his element at a car drifting rally at Kallang.

Epilogue

I don't know why and how I lost the plot to blog.

Perhaps it's all too much these days.
Everyone has a blog.
And 93% of it has them ranting their personal lives away to a computer screen.
It really is getting pathetic.
I guess I jus grew tired of the idea of typing my small life away on a keyboard.
It's too much self-indulgence and narcissism.

At least my blog served a purpose when I was in Oz.
When i was out of reach to most frens,
My blog served as an account of my small Brisbane life.

Now...
Well, people whom I care about, I can meet easily.
Or are just an sms or phone chat away.
Except for the few few who are overseas.

And if people want to know anyth abt me, they can easily reach me and ask me.
So really, tis blog doesn't serve its purpose anymore.
It should not be like my public voice box to air my opinions or personal qualms/joys.

At the most, it shall be a fashionable log book
where I can save the most beautiful wardrobe treasures found online.

And so... Here is my final blog on... *yawn*, myself.
I am moderately peaceful and very thankful today.

Blessed be,
May
